The Growth Phases : 24 Months
- Language : More communicative now, he can manage two or four word sentences.
- Motor Skills : Allow extra time in the mornings before playschool. Your toddler is determined to dress himself, even if he needs some help. He can ask to be taken to the toilet, but still needs diapers at night.
- Mental : He’s more imaginative and is beginning to “pretend” play. He’s also discovering concepts like big and small, and is learning to categories and sort objects.
- Social : His desire for independence grows, but self control lags behind, resulting in a whirl of emotions and selfish behavior-hitting, pushing, biting-to get his way.
